Continuing on from the massive success of Motorstorm, our team were delighted when approached to produce the intro animation for their sequel Motorstorm 2: Pacific Rift. This animation is far removed from the dusty plains of Monument Valley and in this petrol fuelled spectacle, the players are transported to a tropical Pacific island where we see the vehicles racing and ploughing through lush jungle vegetation.
Putting in repeat performances are a few of the vehicles from the original game but with the exciting addition of some new faces, in particular, the monster trucks that storm and charge their way through the environment and over racers. One of the key scenes in this nail-biting trailer sees a giant monster truck colliding with and causing the collapse of a wooden tower, which signals the end of the race for a pursuing car and female biker.
